KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA- I'm not really a fan of modern buildings but the Petronas towers are amazing. These towers were declared the highest towers in the world in 1998 but was surpassed by Taipei 101 in 2004. Inside the towers are lots of shops, restaurants and offices on the higher floors. Outside lies a huge garden complete with ponds, a huge swimming pool and jogging area.
The nice thing about these towers is that tickets are free and unless you work there, you're only allowed until the 41st floor where the sky bridge is at. There are a couple of tours one can purchase in the mall but the lines are gonna be really long.
To get there via ERL (Express Rail Link), take the Kelana Jaya line to KLCC station.
